MAIN CHARACTERS
Arslan:
The young prince of Palse, son of king Andragoras and queen Tahamîne.
A sweet yet determined 14-year-old boy, he's forced to leave his country and
family to become the leader of a small team of trustworthy warriors, fight
their enemies and save his kingdom. Despite his young age, he shows wisdom
and nobility in his actions and words, and wins the loyalty of his followers.
Daryoon:
Brave and honorable warrior, commander of the Palsian army, serious and strong;
his uncle General Vaphreze asks him to protect prince Arslan, even risking
his own life, and Daryoon accepts the mission. He is extremely loyal and would
do anything for his prince...
Narsus:
He used to be one of the king's counsellors, but he got tired of the palace
life and retired to live in the forest with his young servant (a slave whom
Narsus set free) Elam, who became his pupil. He is also an artist and a philosopher,
but his best quality is his intelligence, especially when it comes to war
strategy. Elam is only a year younger than Arslan and they'll become good
friends.
Gieve:
He's a red-haired bard who travels, learns, tells stories and doesn't take
things too seriously. He loves women, beauty and having fun, but he's also
honest and can't tolerate injustice. Meeting Farangese will make him change
and become more serious and loyal.
Farangese:
She was chosen as prince Arslan's guardian warrior-priestess from the day
he was born. A wise and beautiful woman, usually cool and calm, she doesn't
talk much but she's well trained in reading people's hearts, so she often
acts as their advisor when they are troubled.
